The de Havilland DH.88 Comet was a twin-engined aircraft designed for one very specific purpose—to win the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race for Britain. It set many aviation records during the race and afterwards as a pioneer mailplane.

well my elementry school mascot was the comets, so i guess i have to like them. it was a strange school with an even stranger mascot. i mean, how can you have a comet as a mascot. its like not touchable. you cant put somebody in a comet suit, thats dumb. lol. okay, im done now.

I love all things astronomical.
Hale-Bopp was cool. So was Shoemaker-Levy crashing into Jupiter. Glad it wasn't me that got hit!
