Dubai International Capital has ended its interest in taking over Liverpool.

The announcement follows the failure of the club's board to formally accept DIC's bid in the wake of a second offer from American George Gillett.

I really don't know what’s going on? Its clear that the rival bid by Gillett has some merit, otherwise the decision makes no sense. Its to be hoped that the Liverpool board haven't backed themselves into a corner.

I agree with Andy Turner. The less we have to do with anything Arabic the better. They just cannot be trusted. I worked in Saudi Arabia for 6 years and Arabs are the most untrustworthy people on this planet. Hopefully we can finalize the deal with the Americans.

I'm personally happy the Dubai deal is over. Maybe the LFC board had seen this short film clip?
