Why did he not defend the 3 white women in Long Beach, Ca. when they were beat up by 12 black teenagers? If 3 blacks were beaten by 12 whites he and Jesse Jackson would be there in a flash. That looks like they are racists to me.

It's not that they are racist. Those three white women probably would not have any shortage of people wanting to represent them Al Sharpton takes on causes that are relevant to black people who may not have the means or support to defend themselves due to racial injustice. If it's any consolation, sometimes he makes a fool of himself. Remember the case he took representing a teenage black girl who claimed that she was detained and harassed by white police officers and went as far as covering herself with feces and said that they did it to her. Later it was found that she was lying to get out of being punished by her strict parents for breaking her curfew. She had issues. Her first name was Tanya, don't remember her last name. Look it up if you're interested.
