My professor's gone today- it's a sub. They never do anything of importance when a sub teaches and I kind of want to go sleep for a while before my husband and the kids get home...

People do it all the time. There's nothing wrong with taking a short break.
At our school it basically goes without punish. I've skipped about 5 times this semester (Managing to retain an 80% average). If you're not going to be "All there" in class then might as well not show up.

Go for it! I skip classes all the time and I'm doing okay in school anyway. You won't miss much by missing one day, especially if it's a sub.
