Good years or bad years have nothing to do with science. What's a bad year for someone could be the year someone else wins a lottery. There is no scientific "goodness" measurement for any particular year, so the answer to your second question is NO.

Perspective yo. 2005 was a crappy year for a whole lot of people to: disease, death, addiction to pornography, injury, financial loss - How about all the people in South America in 1132 - man that was a bad year!

i don't think that it particularly was.....it's just now a days it is easier and faster to get so much information that was once never attainable
