Apparently money that should have gone to build a training center in Iraq was diverted so that an Iraqi big shot can have a swimming pool. So if you are a Mom,Dad,wife husband, child of a dead or injured soldiers you loved one made that sacrifice so that this Iraqi can have a nice place to swim. Does not that make you mad? Shouldn't Bush be impeached for this.

This is not the only reason he should be impeached. Just add it to the list. All the things that he has done were alot worse than what Clinton did to get impeached. And I hold Bush responsible and not the "Iraqi" Bigshot because ,Remember what Harry Truman said. "The buck stops here." It does not stop in Bagdad. And it is the Republicans that keep drinking the "Kool aid" No matter what facts you are given to show that this war has been missmanaged from the start you keep supporting it.

And wasn;t this the party that was going to save us from the tax and spend liberals. $11,000,000.00/hour they are spending and we do not have it.

To all the people requesting the source maybe you should try, Oh I don't know maybe get $0.25 and but a newspaper and READ IT or listen to something besides Rush or FOX. Why didn;t fox cover the opening of the Intrepid hospital for injured vets. Afraid to face up to the truth. I thought they were supposed to cover and then you decide. How can you decide if they do not cover?

And this was just on example of money lost in Iraq while guys and gals are dying. This just seemed to be the one that was most outragous.

Yes it makes me mad. Is it the Presidents fault, he does have a hand in everything Iraq. Impeached, no.

But what really amazes me is that this story was all over the news today, I heard it from at least 3 different sources, and yet people on here that claim to "know" a lot about this topic, want you to give them a source. I guess this goes to show the exact level of intelligence of many of the users of YA.

Thanks for trying.

Yes it makes me mad, but no on impeachment. Impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors. We're throwing that term around much too loosely. Mistakes are not impeachable. I agree with the answers who wanted more facts, but someone supplied a link, so that's "off the table."

I'm sure for everyone one instance of inappropriate diversions of funds that are found in Iraq, there are 100 more that nobody knows about. However, even with that said, Bush shouldn't be impeached for this. He might be impeachable for a bunch of other reason but not this.

Carlos, I guess you could use just about any reason to inpeach Bush. What does that say about you. Your minds made up.
I'm sure that George Bush said to that Iraqi big shot "here's a lot of money, go build yourself a swimming pool".

Oh, fer cryin' out loud, here we go again......more senseless Bush-bashing!

How in Heaven's name do you come up with the statement that Bush should be impeached for something that an Iraqi official did? I mean, come on! Get real, willya?

And just what is your source for this information, by the way?

No. That's a knee-jerk reaction because you simply don't like the fact that he is your president. Why wouldn't you focus on whomever the Iraqi "bigshot" is? Would that not stand to reason? I mean, if you don't agree with the leader of the United States, that's one thing. But to make a blanket accusation that blames him for everything? That's a little bit too much.

You got the first part right, but how do you arrive at the conclusion that Bush should be impeached. He didn't give anyone the money and tell them to build a pool with it.

Despite what you liberal lunatics think, Bush isn't responsible for EVERYTHING.

Don't be an idiot.

This sort of wasting money has been going on for years, no matter who the President is. Did you know we also pay a guy to test our how fast Ketchup come out of a bottle. Yes that is a government job. At least it was one when Clinton was in office.
