They do seem a bit harsher than in previous years, Randy mostly. I used to think he was simply truthful but neutral.

Perhaps they're just getting tired of all the stupid people.

On the one hand, I sometimes think they could be a bit more encouraging to those who sing well but just have some issues to work out. On the other hand, they're not working as vocal coaches - they're there to pick out those who HAVE it.

I really don't enjoy watching someone who seems harmless if rather clueless being insulted on a personal level (like the bushbaby), but I don't think they've stepped over the line though.

No I Dont Think The Judges Are Too Rude. They Just Tell It Like It Is. Those People Know What They Are Doing...Half Of Them Just Want To Be On T.V. So If They Get Their Feelings Hurt In The Process Then So Be It...Oh Well.

I think that the judges are doing what they are paid to do. The reality is that the producers only let the people who are going to get a reaction on, whether good or bad. So the really bad people are put there for the sole purpose of getting made fun of! I think the judges occasionally have good advice, but for the most part, they're just doing what the producers pay them too do.

I agree; I voted for Kris understanding that Adam became into the extra effective vocalist and has a profession beforehand of him regardless of the result. I enjoyed Kris' music from early on and did not have confidence he might win yet needed him to so as that he might income self assurance and characteristic the bounce initiate that winning AI might grant him. i don't have confidence Adam necessary the bounce initiate. winning isn't continually the ideal ingredient for the ideal performer, as then you definately could grant AI with an element of your earnings over the subsequent 365 days and are sure by way of a settlement dictating what and once you may sing, leaving you limited in ingenious freedom. Adam genuinely did not desire that, he's the main ingenious we've had on the coach and needs to be waiting to be untethered. Kris became into by way of some distance the extra effective determination for my vote and could extra desirable than probably be the artist who's music i decide for to purchase.

The job of the American Idol judge is pointless. After they get to the voting rounds the judges are there for entertainment purposes only. Worst show ever!

My wife watches the show.

She always talks to me about it, saying especially about Simon, being much
too rude and disrespectful.
The others according to her, are not too
bad.

I, only watch the news. Do not watch much
TV at all. I enjoy reading alot, and spending an hour a day on Yahoo Answers helping people and reading intersting answers.

Have a great day.

The judges are real people. They get sick of people beings doofy. But sometimes they under react and sometimes they over react.

The show makes its money by going after goofy, funny, silly, stupid behavior in the early rounds. Otherwise we wouldn't hear from them until they got to hollywierd.

At least last night they took note of how many contestants were polite.

I don't think they're jerks. That whole show is orchestrated to make good TV. It's purposely set up to make you hate them, even though it's the people who try out who are despicable. You hate the hosts, but you keep on watching. That's what the producers and sponsors are hoping for. It is all about business.

The show is an absolute waste of the electricity used to have your TV on. The judges are all dysfunctional, the contestants are asking to be humiliated, if you clearly cannot sing, why would you audition for a singing contest?

I think the entire premise of the show is lame and inhuman.
The whole point of the show is to denigrate the performers, thus the judges are only doing what they need to in order to be "entertaining". Anyone who wants to be on the show has to be willing to submit themselves to humiliation and disappointment, all in exchange for the hope of fame and fortune.

Sad, really
