I write a lot and a lot of the poems I wrote to her I'm pretty proud of but I'm getting married to a wonderful woman and in 2 minds whether to keep them or not. Parted with the ex on really good terms so there's no bitterness or anything like that....

ask her if she would like to keep them. if she does not want to, than ask your new girl if she minds if you keep them. my husband had a bunch of pics of his ex from before we met that he had up in the closet, i asked him to get rid of them because he made me get rid of all my pics and poems of my ex fiance, there was no problem for either of us. its part of the past, and its time to move on. maybe your new wife wont mind if you keep them, to me poems and pics are different. i would have liked to keep my poems because i was proud of them, but i knew they would have made my husband uncomfortable, so i threw them away. its all about sacrifice for the one you love. i should know, i sacrifice my whole exsistence for my husband and i dont even get a thank you

KEEP THEM. This is something I learned the hard way... I had all this memorbilia from me and my two exes, who I loved very deeply. When I met this guy, I went and threw everything away that I had shared with both those other guys because I thought I didn't need or want that stuff anymore, but trust me... you'll regret it. Just put them in a box and save them. One day, you will want to see those poems again........ As long as they're not taking up a lot of room, why not save them? See how you feel in a few years... then think about getting rid of them.

he's mourning the shortcoming of something he enjoyed dearly. That mentioned he should not be invading your privateness by skill of posting initmate info on the cyber web. If it keeps you have a competent case for harassment (was once a police officer, so i be attentive to) see the way it is going, if it does not dwindle after a together as then perhaps you will ought to circulate and communicate to an information officer, they won't think of you're stupid for being disappointed approximately it, harassment can get very extreme. are you able to ask somebody mutual to innovations-set him and ask him to renounce doing this? attempt to no longer get sucked in, together as he's getting a reaction from you he's fulilling a want, if he thinks you're no longer stricken he ought to become bored. provide him a while (as long as this isn't any longer been happening for months or perhaps years) if it keeps, nip it in the bud and record it, you do no longer should stay in concern of what he's going to do next. terrific of success Kez x

Well, are they good poems? Are they sappy and have peoples names in them? I'm always sorry later on down the road when i throw memorabilia away. I say keep the tasteful ones if you need to get rid of something.
Poetry is art and art is life, but if it bothers the new wifey ditch them. this is coming from a girl. but don't be afraid to keep them to look at later in your life.

does you girl know about them??
anyways, if you have a hard time parting with them, you may need to reconsider before you get married.
you may still love the ex, and you shouldn't do that.
the one you are marrying deserves to have your 100%.
if you are still stuck on someone else, yu can't give her that.
but if it's not that, you just think they are good poems, post them online, or try to have them pulished.
if it doesn't deminish the flow of the poetry, you might try changing the names in it, and then letting your girl read them, and posting them, and all that good stuff.
if you can tell your girl about them, that is the best thing to do, secrets are bad, she might find them one day.
but if you can't, and you can get rid of them, (even if you give them to someone else, or if you post them anonymously) then you don't have to tell her. because the skeletons in your closet can't be get you in trouble if you through them out in the street. because no one will know they are yours!
then they are just skeletons. not yours anymore.

making any sense here???

hope I could help.

good luck man.

I hope you hav efound true love

I say keep them. Nothing like young love! Now that you both seem mature, it should not be a problem.

If you new wife has a problem with them then... file 13 them. Why make her feel uncomfortable?

keep them in a memory box, then if you and your wife currently ever want to talk about previous relationships you can pull them out and say you would be willing to write her such poems
