Check out Larry Winget and Suzy Orman. Both have books and websites on personal financial management and advice for reducing debt.

I subscribe to a good free newsletter about personal finance that covers this. When you sign up you get two free e-books. One of them (unadvertised, but you'll get a link right after you sign up) is all about budgeting. The other is more general and quite good.
