Well, I did have a few unpleasant ones that likely should *not* be repeated here (I was a mean, bitter and hateful kid growing up...I was the Fat Kid with Glasses and Asthma, who came from That White Trash Family, literally).
But the one that sticks with me wasn't even from High School so much. It was from late 8th grade, beginning of 9th....
Encyclopedia Brown. After the old-school children's fictional boy detective....because I read books like a madman and at least back then *was* pretty much a walking encyclopedia.
And...well, there was a brief moment in High School when my old glasses ended up getting me nicknamed "Clark Kent" for a while, but that was only for a few months, until I got a replacement pair.
