My best description is unfortunately: Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun or maybe if you have a piano handy:
F F F# F# F F# F E# Eb C ... Does anyone possibly know the actual name and composer for this piece of music?
This is the music that always plays when the Queen suddenly appears in a movie (if it's a comedy anyway), it's almost a guarantee. Anyway, I'd appreciate the help. Thank you!

"Rule Britania, Britania rule the waves."

It's called "Rule Britania." Origionally included in the masque, "Alfred", about Alfred the Great.

I believe it is 'Rule Britannia' set to music by Thomas Arne in 1740. It was first a poem.
