At first I used to hate his books
Then later on, I started liking them

So..wats ur opinion on SS n his books?

Sad that he passed away...

He was damn good at what he did. Sure, he didn't write intellectually for professors in high costing universities to dissect analytically. He just wrote page turners. His stories were always exciting and always keep the reader wanting to read more. In my books, that's what makes a good writer.

I just turned on my computer and saw that he had passed. That made me really sad. I love his work. I got hooked on to him in the late 80's when my aunt loaned me a copy of Windmills of the Gods. I read that book and was like "Damn! This guy writes so you pay attention and can't put it down". Since then I've waited patiently and read everything he wrote. I even spent hours in used bookstores trying to locate copies of all of his books to keep on my shelf. I reread them occasionally and they still give me chills. In fact I just finished re reading The Sky is Falling because I couldn't remember who had the Winthrop family killed and why.

My all time favorite by him is "The Doomsday Conspiracy". Talk about a book spooking you. Wow!

I will truly miss his writing. It was almost as if he was writing the books just for me.

I enjoyed NOTHING LASTS FORVER - the doctors. :) Its great!
