yes, because he made contact with another players face, which results in suspension. It's fair because they did not call a foul on the play, which should have been a flagrent foul. I know Kobe didn't know were Manu was, but if you don't know then don't swing your arm around you so violently. Kobe should also be fined.

No, did you see the clip of Brian Cook doing the same thing against Jared Jeffries yesterday? Greg Anthony stated that this suspension was unfair and if Kobe was suspended then more athletes will be suspended from here on out.

Besides, if it was a bad play then the refs would have penalized Kobe duringthe game. No matter if it was as the time expired or not. This was the leagues decision, completely overruled what the refs thought.

No, that was pretty cheap.

Kobe and the Lakers aren't like Steve Nash and the Suns. Kobe is their one true star. If he is gone then the team is hurting severly. If Nash is out then the Suns can still go on with the beat, atleast a whole lot easier than if the Lakers are without Kobe.

Yeah, Kobe is one of those guys who got off on his criminal charges because he had enough money to make it happen and beat up on the victim. He did it, he did not go to jail but he still stinks up the sport. The NBA will be on cable access pretty soon the way it is sinking and its jerks like Kobe that have caused that. There are not enough starry eyed, wannabee gangsters to make it profitable and no one actually into basketball has any use for the NBA. WNBA is actually better basketball and not an embarrassment.

No! I do not think it was fair. I am not a fan of Kobe, but things like that happen all the time in the NBA. Kobe was concern because if you watched the game he went to check to see if Manu Ginobili was okay THREE times.

It was fair thought maybe a 3 game suspension was needed. He shot it and tried to get contact so the ref would call a shooting foul. Longar Longar of OU was suspended for 3 games for elbowing a Texas Tech guy in one game and it was unintentional.

I don't like how he lied on national TV when we all saw it. He should have gotten 3 games suspended, if he admitted it, then 1 game. You're telling me one of the best athletes in the game a c c i d e n t ally had his elbow hit that guy in the grill? F u c kin liar.

No way. He was just trying to draw a foul and he accidently elbowed Ginobli in the face.
