your premise is false. On one hand if you are speaking of ethnicity then no minority has the right to dictate to the majority in a country. Ethnic French Canadians have no more and no less rights than ethnic Chinese Canadians German Canadians etc.. If you are speaking geographically then you still are misguided Quebec twice voted down proposals for separation by popular vote of which ethnic french are a majority. So who is repressing the French Canadians?
