First and foremost, I'm fascinated that my wife and I were able to create our son, and everything that is a part of him.

I'm also fascinated with human existance -- that humans actually exist is pretty amazing. It's amazing that this is a something instead of a nothing. And how huge the universe is. I'm also fascinated with physics & theoretical astrophysics in general, and clouds, ants. All sorts of things.

The Discovery Channel when they have shows on about geography and whether disasters. The other night I watched one called "The Ultimate Tsunami" and it was incredible. Maybe you'd find it fascinating too... here.... just a little fact.

The December 26, 2004 Tsunami was caused by a slight shift in the sea's floor, it was 4 1000ths of an inch to be exact, and the highest the waves got was 115 feet. It was the 2nd largest Tsunami ever. The first largest was in Alaska in 1948, (I think that's the right year) and it was caused by a landslide and the biggest wave was recorded to be 1750 feet high.

The "ultimate tsunami" is said to be coming towards Hawaii in 10,000-20,000 years. Hawaii contains the biggest active volcano in the world. Scientists are saying a massive piece of the volcano will slide down and fall into the water, causing a massive tsunami that will destroy Hawaii, flooding everything, and unless technology improves, there won't be any warning signs and no way for people to flee the area.

Not quite sure what this question pertains to, but in general, I am truly fascinated by humans. I am constantly observing - sometimes judging - their behaviors and wondering why they do the things they do. For example, I noticed a young man driving recklessly on the freeway, swerving around larger trucks and vans. Then he approached a few cars that seemed to be the same size as his car, then he slowed down. I thought about how less competetive people can be when around equals, yet they have to prove themselves when they are mere decimal points among giant integers. I believe this is also called "small man syndrome."

The Apollo-Saturn stack stood 110 meters (363 feet) high, and weighed 2,767,000 kilograms (6,100,000 pounds) at liftoff. The first stage (S-IC) was powered by a cluster of five F-1 engines developing a total of 33.4 million newtons (7.5 million pounds) of thrust at liftoff.

now that fascinates me!
