Because most European countries are pretty strong, and there are no crappy teams like Togo, Japan, or Australia to waste your time... The only bad thing is that there are no Brazil or Argentina in Euro Cup...

No.

1) Where's Brazil and Argentina, I think that's enough reasons, but there are other teams too like Paraguay, Ecuador, Mexico, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, etc.

2) South American teams won half the World Cups. It means that to win a World Cup is twice more difficult than winning the Euro Cup.

3) The Euro Cup has only 16 teams, while the World Cup had 32 teams. Well, if the World Cup has only 16 teams too... You should compare the first round of the Euro Cup with the second round of the World Cup to be a fair comparison.

Sure, there may be more world class players from Europe, but there are also a lot of world class players that are not from Europe.

If anything, the World Cup would be higher quality because it includes not only teams that qualify from Europe, but also many other great teams from around the world, including Brazil and Argentina.

Maybe in your opinion the Euro Cup is better, but the Euro Cup only includes countries from Europe, while the World Cup includes countries from Europe, and also many other great nations from around the world.

The problem in the world cup is that the different styles of play that each country has, causes problems in games and for the referee. It's difficult to have a referee that is suitable for countries all around the world than just for europe. All of the europeen countries have somewhat the same style of play and it is easier for the referee. So I guess the quality of football would be better, but you wouldn't have fun watching how different south american teams play.

In Euro Cup, you also have the chance of having more good europeen teams that usually don't make it to the world cup because there are so many other countries that are better than them. For example: Yugoslavia, Slovaqia and Austria (Which are all pretty good teams) The spots for europeen countries in the world cup is very limited.

I think is the same. The best players are playing with best clubs in the world. All the top class players want to play in Europe but the World Cup has quality too b/c its the biggest tournament in the world so players will try their hardest to play for their country, pride and for the cup. In Europe you play for your club but wouldn't you agree when the World Cup comes along players and team won't step up their play for their country? Usually when you step up , the quality is better

Maybe...because 80% of the best teams in the world are from Europe...When you wach the game during the E.C. you know that at least one team is really good. There is nothing interesting in watching e.g. Japan vs Australia. And I agree about Brazil and Argentina...

not all the best players are in Europe and is not only the quality of the game is everything around the worl cup. Is every player dream and every fan dream to be part of it. But I think since Mexico 86 is more about publicity than the game itself.

I agree. There are very few world class players playing club football outside of Europe.
