Hi Elena,
Why don't you try and promote your works online? Search for reputable online art galleries - often if they charge a fee would mean that they are serious about what they are doing. Try with Picassomio.com, www.fine-art.com, artwanted.com...There are many others. I am trying to promote my uncle's art here: http://www.artmajeur.com/stephanvladov/ This site also has many free options and actually lets you create your own website. See how it looks like.

Also, try to advertise your site with Google AdWords. One tip on that - target your AdWords campaign to websites whose visitors are likely to buy art. For example, real-estate websites. Those who can afford buying houses can afford buying art as well. And when you buy a new house you'd need some decoration, right?:-)

You certainly are very talented in this field. However, I must be honest with you and tell you there are literally thousands and thousand s of others who can also draw as well as you do. Have you ever heard the term "Starving Artist?" Well, it is literally true! The supply of art out there FAR outweighs the demand, and unless you exhibit at art fairs (mostly people just come to look), or can get into a gallery (very difficult unless you know someone who owns a gallery), then your choices are limited. Most people join their local Art League in the town in which they live. Often, they have information about upcoming shows where you can exhibit your work. Again, though, this field is literally clogged to capacity with talented artists and the demand only goes so far. You might want to switch to a more commercial style, get into graphic design, and learn some computer art courses. Portraits generally don't fetch a lot of money.
