January 15, 1967. The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. At that time it was know as the AFL-NFL World Championship Game. The term Super Bowl didn't come along until a later date. The first Super Bowl that was actually called the Super Bowl was number III in 1969.
