Back in the 70'2 and early 80's there was a plastic resin casting kit Called Plasticraft basicaly you mixed the resin added whatever you wished to embed anand you had an ornament does any one know where there are any similar kit and moulds for resin casting

I do know something similar... but it is not quite what you want. I guess you could adapt it.

It's designed to make models of men's willys but it is basically the same sort of moulding kit.
Alternatively try local craft stores - I bet they will sell the right sort of thing.
