That you were spoken for and really they seemed to get upset about it, that they became quite aggressive and nasty.....isn't flirting supposed to be a little bit of fun here on Y/A.....then why do some people take it to heart?....why not just continue the fun in a happy go lucky way? why do some people get all serious and upset when they find out your spoken for? is it a ego trip thing or what? why?

I dont come here to flirt so i wouldn't know. But if you have someone in your life would you like that person making a connection with someone else online. I mean now-a-days innocent online flirting can turn into a lot more than it should be. If you want to flirt around dump your significant other and go on yahoo personals not yahoo answers. Why be with someone if you feel like being entertained by others?

I have just read some of your questions and you only ask in singles and dating. On your description you say you have a relationship. So i dont get it? why do you want to know about singles and dating and flirting if you have a relationship? are you that unhappy with your partner? or is one person not enough to satisfy you?

I suppose it depends how flirty you were. Some people may feel a connection with someone, or feel like they can get some from the other person, and are upset that they "wasted" all of their time on someone who had absolutly no intentions on following through with anything.
My philosophy is to be up front and honest with the person you are talking to...you never know they could be crazy! If you are spoken for then why would you feel the need to lead someone else on?

they probably get upset cause they think u are interested with them and when they find out your seeing someone else they might think your stringing them along. just tell them from the beginning u only want fun and that your already spoken for

Yes, I think a little is OK unless you were not up front about it. If the person is overly aggressive I would leave well enough alone and move on. Bye

some people are just like that, I agree flirting is just a fun thing to do sometimes, but if you are spoken for, then you shouldn't be flirting.
