early days start in 80's and gets hotter all afternoon until thunderstorm between 4 and 6 that last 15-30 minutes witch cools things off but becomes extremely humid and sticky until the sun goes down.

Plan for Disney.... Start as early as they will let you..... leave 12-1pm and go back to hotel and play in the pool/take a nap, eat big meal 2-4 and return to park around 5 as many are falling down from heat/ sun... enjoy the park until it closes (in July usually midnight- 1am)

Mid October is whilst the climate gets a splash drier in Orlando, besides the reality that that's never "dry". the possibility of rain drops and the rain that does fall is shorter in length and much less severe. The daily severe averages in the low 80s and the low is in the mid 60s, so i could p.c.. a suit and greater shorts than long pants, yet be arranged for probably cool evenings if the temp dips below regularly occurring.

July and August are the most humid and hot months in Orlando. It about takes your breath away - and not necessarily in a good way lol.
There are ways to still enjoy a Florida vacation during these hot and humid months. Pack clothing which wicks away moisture. The golden rule is: if its cotten, its rotten. Cotton doesn't release the moisture from the air and your body so you'll be wet and uncomfortable all day.
Also, wear really good walking shoes. Crocs sandals are my #1 recommended shoe - especially that time of year. Wear them without socks (they are lightweight, antibacterial, and they stay dry!), but bring a pair of socks into the theme parks with you in case you develop a blister.
Drink TONS of water! I can't stress this more. On a visit last June/July, a friend of ours hadn't had much water. She visited a theme park and got sick while she was there. We had to bring her home early. I put her right to bed and made her sip water and eat a banana to get her strength back. So drink up and never leave your hotel or condo without a bottled water on you.
The upside to all of this hot and humid weather? The oceans are like bath water! So enjoy!

Usually very hot. The temperature is usually in the 90's or high 80's. Sometimes it even goes in the 100's.

Plan for an afternoon thunderstorm. Bring your own poncho. It's cheaper than buying a Disney one. Get one of those inexpensive ones from Walmart or Target.

Expect it to rain. It won't rain long, generally 5-10 minutes. So don't wear dry-cleanables or nice shoes while you're at the park.
