after working there for 10 pluse years let go for not makeing it on time

Its doubtful, but take a shot at it. Send a letter to the district HR office an see what happens. You'll have to show that you have changed your ways.

Maybe not but I would go a apply at FedEx, DHL, UPS or another air freight company. Your supervisor may have just had something againist you. Always show up to work on time but the competion may appreciate your experience. However, many companies fire employees for being late as a reason to really fire them for something else. If I thought an employee was stealing from my business but really did not have solid evidence it was them. I would right them up everytime they where late to work then fire them after 3-5 times of being late.

No. They figured you won't make it on time if they re-hired ya again.
But then again...if you re-apply and possiblity they make re-hire you but you will be at a different hour, job and you prolly lost your some of your seniority rank.
