in gym we were playing baseball and the ball came to me and i was like i CANT CATCH... so then i let it hit the floor...

Seriously, if you are interested in baseball and don't live in the US, Japan or South America...you may be out of luck. The first thing you need is 8 other equally interested people to play with you on your team. Then, you need another team!
Baseball can be simple or complicated, depending upon how much of a stickler for rules you are. If you are just playing in the back yard with your buddies and just want to have fun, do this: divide into teams. One person on the team will pitch, one will catch and everyone else is an outfielder. Pitchers throw the ball where the batter has at least a chance of hitting it. Catchers squat behind the batters to make sure balls don't go past them and out of play. If a batter manages to hit the pitched ball in bounds, he runs to first base (to the right...it goes counter-clockwise). If none of the fielders catch the ball on the fly (that means it doesn't bounce on the ground first), they have to tag the batter out at a base by getting the ball to a teammate covering the base before the runner gets there. If a runner gets all the way around the bases to touch Home plate before three of his team mates make outs, he scores. It's not all that hard in concept...execution is everything!

You have two teams of varying numbers of people and each team takes turns either doing outfield positions or batting, and one-by-one, the batting team members go up to bat where they hit a ball with a wooden bat that is pitched to them from the opposing team's pitcher. When the batter hits the ball they race to first base or as far of a base as they can get (the bases are flat bags on the ground going around the playing field in a diamond shape- there are 4 bases: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and home) without being tagged by an opposing team member who has the ball in-hand or without an opposing team member with the ball putting their foot on a base you are running too before you reach it. To successfully get to a base, the batter/runner has to touch the base with their foot before getting out. And when they hit the home base (same base they batted from; completing a diamond shape when they reach it again) they have scored a homerun/point for their team.

Baseball Is one of my fave games It is just like cricket but better we play with mitts to catch and have four bases there is first base second base and third base the last base is called home and the bat is round not rectangle real good game to play I think
