Don't they first have to make it to the World Cup? Maybe, never say never. I mean the chances are that they wont but miracles do happen. USA hockey team beat the Russians in 1980. NC State beat Houston and Villanova beat Georgetown. Tyson was knocked out by Douglass.

Never. They don't have the home grown domestic players to win or the proper youth system to build quality players. Few if any play in the major clubs in the world

india actully qulified for the 1950 world cup in brazil but pulled out because they were not aloud to play in barefeet

india has to move step by step:first we have to aim for qualifying for which we need to improve our infrastructure,motivate more boys to play the game coz everyone is aloof to it,more emphasis needs to be laid on the nursery leagues and more academies like the ''TFA'' and ''SAI'' need to be set up!
once we qualify we'll surely win!!
