Depends when you get to it. There is actually no cure for a rhinovirus, however there are some things you can do to get rid of it faster or if you get in within the first 24 hours to head it off. In first 24 hours: Get lots of sleep. If you go to the Gym/exercise, do not over exert. Do not get wet & cold (This was thought to be an old wive's tale but latest research is backing this). There is some evidence that echinacia may help but this is very inconsistent. There is a new approach that involves spraying an acidic gel into the nostrils that has had some surprisingly good early results (and not just from the manufacturer). I read one small, but peer-reviewed double blind study that indicated that this stuff headed off virus reproduction. It is marketed in Australia & Europe as "vicks first defence". Anecdotally, I think it helps. It is not cheap but worth it ($13 AUD). Some studies also backed zinc tablets which again impeded virus reproduction in the early stages. If you can slow it down enough your own immune system has time to fight back. I would NOT use the zinc spray still legal in some countries. There was an uncommon but significant side effect that some people lost their sense of smell (and most of their taste) for good. To get rid of it faster: Lots of sleep. Spray your nostrils with a light saline solution (about 1tsp salt / 100 ml water). This really just makes you more comfortable but is better than that pseudoephedrine sprays, which I think make you worse in the longer run. Cough medicine and stimulants are generally useless except to drug you up if you have to work. You could try the first defence or zinc but the suggested reason it works does not really support the idea that it will stop a cold already under way. I am cautious about herbal remedies generally - "natural" or not you simply dont know what they put in them. If a "cold" does not go away for ages, (ie more than about 10 days) you may like to consider other alternatives. Firstly, you may have an allergy that co-incidentally came on with the cold. Mould or bacterial infection in your sinus is another possiblity, and sometimes the trauma on your nostrils from the cold can allow an opportunistic infection to take over. In that case i would get it swabbed, particularly if you start running a fever again or have some reason to question your immune system.

First of all do not attempt to take1500mg of zinc a day as suggested. The RDA is only 15-20mg a day and anything so high is toxic and could be fatal.
Vitamin C is perfectly safe and on the outset of a cold try to take 10,000mg per day of the soluble kind, which saturates the cells and kills the virus.
Also take 2 high strength garlic capsules, (not the odourless as these are neither use nor ornament).
If caught early enough the cold will be much more short lived.
Keep it up until the symptoms have gone.
Those lovely zinc capsules that burst in your mouth are good too.

Sorry about your cold.
You can use Zinc 500 mg three times a day in addition to
Lot's of fluids and rest. For the sore throat, like someone else mentioned. Honey and lemon is great. Gargle with salt water 3-4 times a day. Also use something over the counter for fever or aches. May try nice hot shower with Lot's of steam to open your airways.
Feel better soon

"There is no doubt now that vitamin C in large doses has value against the common cold. My recommendation is not 1 gram a day, or 2 grams a day of vitamin C but at the first sign of a cold, take a gram of vitamin C or 2 grams and then an hour later, if the symptoms still exist - if you're still sneezing, or your nose is running or feel shivery, take another 1 or 2 grams of vitamin C. Keep doing that until you forget because the symptoms have gone away and this will stop a cold in almost every person who follows the regimen."

Hope this will work, and make you better soon!!!!!!!

Increase your intake of vitamin C, take garlic capsules, and make sure you drink plenty of water to flush out the bugs (1.5ltrs). If your sinuses feel blocked or painful, I strongly recommend Vicks Sinex one a day capsules - they have worked for me everytime. If you like alternative therapies, you could even try a course of Hopi Ear Candling. Depending on the severity of the cold, 1-3 treatments should be enough. It is a great therapy suitable for ailments such as colds/flu, stress, tinnitus, blocked sinuses, and many more.. Sometimes, results can be immediate but usually it takes 24hrs to get the full result. Many of my clients have benefited from this therapy and from my own experience, I have found Hopi Ear Candling to be very helpful when it comes to getting rid of colds.

Ziacam helps a cold to run its course in about three days. I have taken it before, and it worked for me. Another thing you can try is to load up on the vitamin C. I started getting a cold one time and sat down with some orance juice, a bowl of soup, a cup of Alka Seltzer cold + C, and it knocked the cold right out of my system. (I felt great the next day.) My parents laughed at me but it worked great!

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/cHraz
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
