The doc said to wait until he was 9 months but he is healthy little guy (only 1 minor cold so far) and we have not identified ANYTHING at all that he is allergic to. He hates baby food so much and just stares at us when we eat our food as if to say, "Mommy please let me have some of that instead of this pureed chicken and rice crap!" So when I got home from work yesterday, I was eating a piece of cheese and he put his little hand out reaching for it. I HAD to give him some. HE LOVED IT - he smiled and laughed!
No strange poops or rashes yet.

I don't think you are being a bad mom. Most children love American cheese slices. It is, however, a processed food so it is not very healthy. I would suggest that you limit his cheese slice intake to only one per day as it is very binding and can cause constipation. There is no reason your son has to eat commercially prepared baby food. Using common sense, babies can eat most table foods. If it can be mashed or cut into tiny pieces let him try a little of what you have, especially if he shows an interest in it.

you may want to not in any respect contact the toddlers I have rabbits which have bred and they make a nest with there fur and straw from there cage and the toddlers have finished wonderful the doe feeds the kits at evening so that you wont see her doing it you do not opt to the contact or examine them the doe will try this for you please what ever you do do not not basic the kits againThere are 6 to ten toddlers in a clutter. Their eyes received't open till about 2 weeks once they're born. do no longer contact any of the toddler rabbits till they're 7 days previous. in case you do, you'll replace the way they scent, and the mum received't feed them. in case you want to envision the toddler rabbits, rub your palms over the mum first. Then the toddlers will scent like their mom quite of smelling like your palms.

You are not necessarily a bad mom for trying to use your own judgement, BUT... you must NOT give your little guy dairy products until one year! He may seem fine with them, but you are setting him up to develop milk allergies later on.

If you continue to give in whenever your son wants something, then yes, you would be a bad mom. A parent's job is to set boundaries for their children, and stick with them. Your son has no way of knowing what is good for him - you must be the one to set rules and make sure he follows them.

If your son does not like baby food, find out from your doctor what adult foods are safe for him. Cheerios should be ok, very soft chicken with no bones, any of the stage 3 gerber foods (little snack crackers and stuff).

You are not a bad mom, but your Dr is psycho. I suggest get another one. My youngest baby flat out refused to eat jarred baby food, I started trying to give him that about 4 months. By his 6 month check up his Dr told me to just give him regular food and I did. He's 14 months now and just fine.

As long as it's not a daily habit I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just to let you know my 7 month old has had cheese on occasion and it does seem to bind him up a bit.
