The convenience of self-proclamation has been used to rationalize crimes in the religious sect, since time began. To "true" Christians, the Ten Commandments are exactly that, not "suggestions", and if you're not following them to the letter, then,I'm afraid you've entered into a very horrible situation, That of "the hypocrite", and that's beyond repair,my hell bound friend

Jesus allowed Himself to be scourged and crucified rather than raise His hand to defend Himself.

Under that standard, ALL of the allied soldiers that liberated Eurpoe and Asia in WWII were murderers. As would be a woman fighting back against a rapist using deadly force.

So I guess we're not God, but merely humans.

I would not call those people murderers, and I assume you would not either.

So what is your point?

I suggest you read up on Christian doctrine and learn more, if you are interested.

Thou Shall Not Kill-It does not say murder. Taking a persons life is killing no matter what. It is so fun to watch the right spin this.

First, enable's maximum appropriate a false impression. God, with the aid of Moses, gave the Israelites that covenant regulation that declares to not commit homicide; the unlawful taking of yet another's existence (homicide). They have been commanded to kill the inhabitants of the land for a pair motives: a million. God substitute into punishing them for their collective sins in the past Him. It substitute into the winding up of a lawful dying sentence from God's attitude. 2. God substitute into attempting to instill in the Israelites what the destiny may be of them or their offspring later could any of them commit the same sins through fact the inhabitants of the land had finished, turning to idols and idol worship, leaving at the back of God in the approach. It substitute into meant to electrify on their minds the undesirable destiny of their later offspring for doing the same issues. regardless of all this, they nonetheless ended up leaving at the back of God, and suffering the implications so vividly inspired into their minds. 3. What classes can we learn from their examples? .

Judging by the ignorance of this so called question I will assume you have never been a soldier. Tell me though, what would you do (soldier or not) if someone pulled a gun on you? Would you lie down like a dog or fight for the lives of you and your family?

You have a strange sense of murder. People who are trying to kill you aren't murders, but those who are protecting you are? Hmmmmmmmm. As opposed to someone who encourages terrorists with their actions, but at the same time support the killing of an innocent child in the womb? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Catholic church is against the war, as well as abortion. But the christians you are speaking of don't believe that catholics are christians, so what are you gonna do...they deny science, history, and reality on many levels

EDIT: this is evident in the thumbs dwon...

This turned me off at the church I used to go to. The preacher stood up one Sunday a few days before the Pres. election, and said that we needed to re-elect President Bush as he was chosen to lead us through these turbulent times. I got up, walked out, and never went back. There is no place for politics in church. That being said, soldiers are not murderers. They are defending our country.

Try, unborn fetuses are innocents. Terrorists, Jihadi Insurgents and Shia Death Squad members are not.
