One to the best resort in Ochie is Sunset.. They don't have a fridge but the do provide buckets for ice and ice is just a few steps away from most rooms. The do have live entertainment on Friday nights.

No they do not have mini-fridges. They do have beach vollyball. I am not sure of the theme nights. The ride from the airport to the resort is about 2.5 hours. They do stop at a bar/resturant halfway to Ochi. The nice thing about the resort is it is right in the middle of town. It is safe to walk around. There are some hustlers but just be nice and tell them no thanks. Make sure to get away from the "touristy" places. Walk down AWAY from the taj mahal and meet some real nice people. There is a local market a few blocks down the road when you walk out of the resort turn left. It was really neat. The resort was nice. The cruise ships port right in the bay that the beach is on so that is neat if you don't mind all the crowds. The beach is nice but the water is a bit cloudy from the sand stirred up. Themed nights are carribbean night, beach party night. All pretty cheesy but the food is good.
The ride is at least 2 hours long on a bumpy road and they dont stop at bars. There were also no drinks provided on the bus.
Overall, the resort is very nice. Rooms are much nicer in the South Tower if you can choose.

ENJOY...make sure you go to Island Village, Dunns River Falls and eat a Jucy Beef Patty.
