That depends...if I try on a pair of jeans and it's like "Oh My Flaming Goodness I need these!" I'll usually buy them. I generally don't look at jeans that are out of my price range, but we all know how hard an amazing fit of jeans is to come by. If I find a pair of jeans that fit me really well and are comfortable to wear, chances are I will buy them, even if they may be a bit more than I wanted to spend. As far as trendy jeans go, I don't look for the 'trendiest' pair, rather I go for a fit that will make me look how I want to look. I don't think it's stupid to buy an expensive pair of jeans, as long as your life savings aren't going into buying them. What I think is stupid is buying a pair of jeans that are three sizes too small, which unfortunately we see at school/ elsewhere every day. Bottom line, if I like them, I will buy them.

I'm 17 and usually pay about £25-30 because i don't see much point in buying a proper expensive pair of jeans when i know i'll probly see some in another shop for cheeper and they'll proply fit better, but thats just me!! Or unless its a really special occasion and i need a nice pair of jeans!

i am 14 and am obsessed with clothes, so i think i can help!! first off, i live in marin, so around here, girls spend tons and tons on clothing. big fads for preppy girls are abercrombie and fitch, hollister, american eagle, and a rew store ruehle. the stuff runs tiny ( i am 95 pounds and 5"4' and at the hollister the xs and sometimes even smalls are TIGHT!! all of the girls around her drool over juicy couture everything and every1 has uggs!!! the "cooler crowd" go to forever 21, haight street boutiques+ vintage shops+ thrift stores. Also, everyone shops and Brass plum, in Nordstroms and buys all the same crap. Lucky brand+ free people is very popular, everyone has their jeans+sweatshirts, and the other expensive jeans everyone has or wants are paige premium denim, true religion, joes, citizens of humanity, 7 for all mankind, and rock and republic. ppl normally wear uggs, expensive jeans, a boring shirt, and a juicy jacket. also in are bomber jackets (especially hooded vests w/plaid)... ppl also wear leggings and skirts a LOT too asides from clothes, everyone has an ipod and a cool cellphone (the razr or a chocolate) in their pockets 24/7.
from 70- 180

i am obsessed with Jeans. my cousin works at a designer store and is a jeans specialist. So being around her makes me love them too. i have a few pairs of jeans that cost me a little less then 300, after hemming and stuff.. but i also have cute ones from target, and i wore them all the time, so i honestly don't think that trendy jeans have to be expensive. least i spent on jeans where 20 dollars and i wore them all the time.

I pay up to $160.
This might seem like a lot, but I used to wear regular jeans that cost between $30-$50, I will never go back to them after getting my seven jeans. Buying an expensive pair of jeans is an investment, but they look sooo much better and they last forever if you take care of them. I promise that you won't regret paying a lot.

i dont get it when people blow money on 100$ jeans, unless they have no spending limit due to rich parents. i will usually spend 20-30 dollars on jeans, but price varys from state to state you know, 20 dollars here might be 50 dollars some other state. but i live in florida. i bet its more expensive in say new york.

never more than 100 dollars. trends go in and out and i do not think it is worth a lot of money to wear something for 6 months. probably 70 at max for me. i would spend up to 100 on a pair that i know i could wear for a few years.
