I completly understand how u feel... However life is what u make it... if u want things to change then u have to take the first step toward that change.. Yes life was great until high graduation... was it mainly because we were still living at home and didnt have any bills or responsibilities? well if u think back and be honest with yourself.. during ur high school days u was ready to be out on ur own and live ur life the way u wanted... but then just as soon as something "bad" happens then u wanna go run and cry to mommy/daddy... The point of life is to make mistakes, yeah things are gonna get cut off or whatever but build a bridge and GET OVER IT... Hope i helped...

Worry and Stress are things you buy into or don't. Sounds like BS doesn't it? "I've got bills to pay and I can't pay them. Of course that stresses me out, how could it NOT?" Right?

What happens if you don't pay them? hmm?

What is the worst that can happen?

I don't ask these questions to encourage you to not pay bills. I ask them to demonstrate your new position in life. It's called freedom. It's an interesting place and few people who were born to it fully appreciate. You see in another country if you didn't pay your bills you'd be in jail, or a slave or potentially something worse.

It's your life and you have choices. But most of us forget that we have choices. Did you know it is completely your choice to be happy or not? Right now, at this very moment, or any moment during the day, if you remember to choose, you can, to be happy or not. And that really sounds like a load of BS, right?

True story, repeated often, common knowledge whatever you want to call it:
A dog is chained to a stake with a length of rope, repeatedly for an extended period of time. At first the dog runs to the end of the rope and gets choked, over and over and over again. Eventually it learns where the limit is. Eventually it adjusts unconsciously. If the rope is then removed, the dog will still stay within the no longer existent limits that the rope imposed.

The dog now has a choice, but it doesn’t know it. It forget there was anything but the limit it adapted to long ago. That my friend is your (and allot of other’s) current condition.

When you were a child your natural condition was happiness. Parents, life, school, society or whatever experiences in your history conditioned you to believe that there were criteria to be met in order to be happy. There is isn’t. Your mood and emotion is under your direct control at any moment. It’s very much like remembering to stand up straight. Remember what feeling happy feels like, and then do it. It’s contagious by the way and habit forming.

That’s issue one, just be happy, and just stop worrying over the bills. They will be paid or not paid, period. No amount of stress or worry will change that.

Next, explore. Find out what is fun for you. Most of us don’t get out and find what we want because of fear or conditioning. Again, trained behavior that persists because we forget we have a choice. Fear is an illusion. A lousy one most of the time and useless. You won’t say hello to that person you find interesting because of fear. Fear of what? It is a choice again. Consider what the worst is that can happen from saying hello. It pales in comparison to the option of never saying hello, over and over and over again throughout your life. Here’s a funny little joke, humiliation is really very fun. That is self humiliation by the way. Why, because it teaches you that humiliation really has no negative repercussions. It is liberating. If no one knows you and/or likes you what does it matter if you do something stupid? Even if they do know you and like you, it still doesn’t matter. Because if you being humiliated makes them stop liking you, they weren’t really friends anyway. Break away from that virtual rope.

As human beings we learn best from negative feedback not positive. That sucks really because what it means is that we are always learning what we shouldn’t do. That’s our natural condition. It’s the part that comes with animal instinct. Literally it’s the one we share with the dog. The difference is we have a rational mind that can, if we use it, overcome the animal instinct.

Life will be full of negative feedback. The effect, if we don’t use our rational mind and remember we have choices, is that we become that dog on the chain. Only for us, that chain becomes shorter every day because every day we will experience some other negative feedback. Eventually, we’re walking in a very tight little circle wondering why we are bored out of our minds.

Take a look at your neck? Got a leash there? Then you are free. If your life feels like it sucks so bad, what’s the damage in stepping out and taking some risks. It’s how you learn. And there is an incredible, limitless amount of things to learn.

Always remember the leash isn’t real. After that, you can find your own point.

the question is NOT what's the point in life. but is,what's the point in YOUR life? you see i can give you a list of why i love being alive, but it wont mean anything to you. you have to make YOUR life worth living. and expecting the sun moon and stars to just bring forth a "good life" is not gonna happen. you have to figure out what you want. in high school life was handed to you. you're parents provided you with a "life" whether good or bad. you just had to be led around by the nose. now that's gone. noone leading you around telling you what to study, what to eat, where to go, no planned activities to go to because everyone else (the other mindless sheep) are going too. so i think it's time to look in the mirror and have a good heart to heart. and i'll be the first to let you know "you are an adult now" so grow the hell up! and get to know this world and it's people. and then your "life" will just sort of happen. GOOD LUCK!

I FEEL YOU, and I feel the exact same way alot of the time, but just , for goodness sakes, "stay in the game". By that I mean stay employed no matter how bad the job sucks, take what little money you have and do something, go somewhere, and meet people. Don't let the situation take you out of the game of life. I guarantee if you take that advice thing will change because I am starting to see and change in my life. You're not by yourself in this!!!

You have to make it fun. Clearly you are living in the past wether you think it or not. Your not the same as you where in high school and if you were to go back and live it you'd realise this. Instead of mopping and complaining about how crap life is why not enjoy it. Try something exciting tomoro. Why not go to a game if thats your thing..do something you've NEVER done before. Anything..thats what your next question should be...any suggestions to what i should do next?..Not "is life pointless.!"

I feel you man!
I'm really screwed.
I would say,
eliminate the unnecessary bills.
talk to a psychologist.
realize that there is hope. I look up to bands/ singers who have been suicidal and depressed because the made it in life after the depression.
MCR front man Gerard way was an addict.
FOB bassist Pete Wentz attempted suicide,
now they are all doing more with their lives. Thinking about settling down and maybe taking a break after touring, promoting, etc.

"Make it happen" by Mariah Carey.

good song, listen to it!

Don't Jump!

If you are going to jump, do something crazy first. Try crack or heroin. Rob a bank. Maybe even a murder-suicide. Who knows, maybe killin will feel so good you will find the will to live.

Or just drink every night like most useless people.

Or, if your REALLY wild... You could wake up everyday and work hard to achieve a goal. Just a thought, I hear a bunch of smart people are into it.

Good luck!

Life is what you make it. What have you done to make yours better since high school? You have to answer that honestly, decide what you want to do personally and professionally and then make changes in your life to make it happen. It's either do something about it or sit around and wait fruitlessly for something to happen for you. Only the first option leads to success.

Life's all about choices ...... you need to make better choices.
Don't buy things you don't need and stop living from paycheck to paycheck to pay your bills. Go without for a while and save your money..... develop a plan to make your money work for you, not you working for your money. If you don't understand this concept, seek out someone who does. Good Luck!!

It's called life, and it sucks.
Find a hobby, find a gf/bf, find something that makes you happy and life beautiful to live for and do it!
Or just stop whining and go away.

Remember, there's ALWAYS someone out there that has it worse than you. Stop wallowing in self-pity and enjoy life.
