shrew? i think not, my son has cerebral palsy and i have nobody to help me take care of him, i can't work outside the home, i've tried, bosses don't like you having to take off 15 days a month for trips to the hospital. the ex works here and there for cash, kept a paying job for 1 month last year. local p.d. returned papers to the court and it was dismissed because of inability to serve a family member.

He has to leave the house sometimes. Hire a special process server to stake out the house (or his work) and serve him when he emerges.

Go to the police and ask, or have them serve papers at his place of work etc. He has to come up for air sooner or later. At this point they can get a search warrant based on information and the fact he is close to felony status for abandonment. His parents can be charged with accessory.

Try and get some proof that he is living there. Hire a good lawyer. The longer he avoids his responsibility of paying support the harder it's going to be for him. His parents are doing him any favors by hiding him out. IF he is working, find out where. He can get his wages guarnished (money deducted from pay). Good Luck

I would loose contact with anyone who was running away from paying something like support if I was you. I have a boyfriend and he has a child and he pays child support. The fact that your ex and his parents are running away from his responsibilities means that they are not good people. They are irresponsible and not very caring. If someone is ordered to pay support then there must be a need for it.

I would not only take it to a judge and explain the problem I would
have the police talk to the family members. All they need is probable cause and a little paperwork to search that place from top to bottom! I don't know where you live but wherever it is I would live elsewhere!

You should be able to serve him yourself. Get certified copies of the papers, bring a witness, and wait till you see him come out of his parents house..... Your witness will have to file an Affidavit.

try to find other means of support, your ex is obviously not a stand up kind of guy who lives up to his responsibilities.
try social security, an at home job, computor work from home, make things sell them on internet....
I hope things work out for you and your child.
