Overpriced jeans are fine...........if you have the money. If I did I would probly buy em. I only pay at the most like 40 bucks for a pair of jeans I'm 20 and married with 2 kids I have higher priorities than 170 dollar pair of jeans.

That depends...if I try on a pair of jeans and it's like "Oh My Flaming Goodness I need these!" I'll usually buy them. I generally don't look at jeans that are out of my price range, but we all know how hard an amazing fit of jeans is to come by. If I find a pair of jeans that fit me really well and are comfortable to wear, chances are I will buy them, even if they may be a bit more than I wanted to spend. As far as trendy jeans go, I don't look for the 'trendiest' pair, rather I go for a fit that will make me look how I want to look. I don't think it's stupid to buy an expensive pair of jeans, as long as your life savings aren't going into buying them. What I think is stupid is buying a pair of jeans that are three sizes too small, which unfortunately we see at school/ elsewhere every day. Bottom line, if I like them, I will buy them.

I'm 22 and buy trendy clothes at reasonable prices. I would prefer to buy clothes from high street stores as they cost less but are in keeping with the style I like. I don't see the point of buying stupidly priced designer jeans that look the same as the high street version except for the tiny designer label that nobody really notices.

well i think that a good pair of jeans are great; they last for AGES, you can wear them practically every day, and with anything. Therefore i think it's important ti get the right pair that flatter you.

if you find a really good pair that are comfotable, it really depends on how much you usually spend on clothes to how much you'd spend on jeans, but i'd say £60 is a good price, stretch up to £100 if they are fabulous. If it's a really good label, quality etc. i would say £140 maximum, but only if they'll last you a long time.

It is stupid to do so...when I was a teen, I had to have guess jeans, but always the clearance ones. Now I prefer my $40 levis over spending a lot more at banana republic like my boyfriend does. The question is...who is the one really paying for the jeans...you? Your parents? What else could you do with that money? Concert tickets, sporting events...vacations even???

I shop in mainley Jane Norman and Bay Trading (In the UK)

The most i have spend on a pair of jeans is £40.
They are a good make and come from a good shop. Spending too much money on one item of clothing is stupid.

Also jeans last a lot, lot longer than any top as they dont have to be washed so often and they are more durable.

Hope this has helped you?!!?

as much as i love expensive brand jeans i cant really afford them, its still fun to look at them or try them on, but when it comes to buying the most i will pay is like $80. probably not even that. i like to wait till they go on sale or clearance so i can get a nice pair of jeans for cheap. i never pay the normal price!

I've only ever spent as much as £40 because I've only ever had £40 to spend on jeans...

In a luxory world, I'd spend more if I knew they would last longer or if it were a better fit
