The Confederate flag is not an offensive symbol.
The swastika is though and the Confederate flag should not be compared to it.

Its one of the reasons I left Texas. (born and raised there 24 yrs.) Just too many people still fighting the Civil War. I didn't fight in the Civil War. Our fathers didn't fight in the Civil War. Our grandfathers didn't fight in the Civil War. Our great-grandfathers didn't fight in the Civil War. Most of our great-great grandfathers didn't fight in the Civil War. It's over people. Move on. The south is not going to secede and it will not rise again. Right or wrong, when I see the confederate flag what I see is that the person flying it is racist, bigoted and ignorant.

No it just depends how u use it. Some people use it to say they are rebels, others use it as a racist thing. Racist people are just ignorant, they are just afraid of excepting other people.

It doesn't bother me. It's a piece of cloth. I see it too much where I live to let it get to me. But I don't think it should be flown on state or federal buildings.

It doesn't offend me, unless it's used in a manner that could be offensive IE KKK.
