A memorial day for Native Americans? That's a Great idea! After what all the Europeans have done to them they certainly deserve it! And why should it not be another paid Federal holiday? We could put it some where during the first half of the year (where we don't have many federal holidays.)

Memorial day is set aside for the men and women of the United States military- I didn't know that native Americans have their own military. Any Native American who served in the US military is also honored on this holiday as is every soldier regardless of race,creed,religion or political affiliation.
Do not disrespect the men and women who serve this country with honor sacrificing their lives so that everyone in America can scream for their own self serving bullsh*t holidays .

I'd start by writing your Senators/Congressperson. It sounds like a goood idea to me!
But why not a paid holiday? At the very least, it would be one less day the government drones would be busy scr**ing things up for the rest of us! :)
