Three proudest achievements in the past 10 years...that puts us back to 1997. Hmmm. I taught a friend to horseback ride - and she published a novel about the experience with my horse as a main character. That was pretty cool. I have adopted, rehabilitated and cared for 4 abandoned rescue Boxers...two of whom are still alive at this time. They have given me joy; seeing them recover and become good, happy dogs has been very rewarding. And I have made new friends and a new life in a part of the country in which I have never been before. There is great contentment in the process.

Things I wish I could change...these are selfish things. I wish my mother had lived longer. I wish I hadn't gained so much weight during my change of life. I wish our employment/financial situation had been less precarious.

ACHIEVEMENTS:
1. Graduating high school (because of the hell I went through that year of getting out of foster care after 10 years, being tossed around the state until my mother found a decent home for me to come to, moving home to my family, starting a new school where everyone seemed to hate me, my mother kicking me out, getting my own apartment and being independent at 17, it was a very challenging year.)

2. Receiving my first year's college 'report card'. I had earned myself a 3.87 gpa! Self-explanatory, really. I had worked my butt off.

3. Giving birth to my son, Matthew in May, 2004. First of all, getting through the labor with no pain medication is an achievement all on its own! Second, becoming a mother was the greatest gift and greatest day I've ever had in my life. The emotion I felt that day was more overwhelming than I've ever experienced.

CHANGES:
1. I wouldn't have gone to college in my home town just because my boyfriend was going there. I would have stuck to my original plan to outside my home state, instead of studying something I really didn't enjoy or want to get into as a profession.

2. I would have stayed in college regardless of how much of an affect pregnancy was having on me. I should've just gotten use to morning sickness and kept going to classes, instead, I had to withdraw from school.

3. I wouldn't have lost touch with a few friends in particular who helped me through the really bad times. Now I don't even know where they live, haven't seen them in about 6 years.

3 things I wish I could change:
- I'd spend more time with my wife
- I'd focus more on my studies in college and get better grades
- I'd make time for friends (although it would be hard to do this one and the last one at the same time :P)

Over the past 10 years? Well i cant think of much but there is one thing i will say. That is that i wish i didn't have such a bad memory (this is due to a medical condition) and that i wouldn't worry about things too much. So i cant remember achevements i would have made in the past. Sorry. But good question.

I got married to my soulmate, bought a really nice house and put a pool and Jacuzzi in. I consider these achievements because, I was married to a loser before, lived in his and his ex wifes house and had only 400 dollars to our name when we first started out.
