Now that McDonald's accepts debit/credit cards, I was wondering if its in-restaurant donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities have gone down. I don't usually carry cash anymore because I use my debit card everywhere, but when I went to McDonald's, I would get cash out. I used to drop my change from the McDonald's meal in the canisters. Now that it accepts debit cards, I use that instead of cash, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So I was just wondering if anyone knows if this has affected in-restaurant donations.

I can't say for sure, but I think it probably has. I still put change in if I have any in my pocket, but I doubt that everybody does!
PS I want to thank you for helping out whenever you did! I had to stay at one for 2 months while my daughter was in the hospital. So I do know that every little bit does help!
