What about actors that are overplayed? Which men aren't played enough in Hollywood?
IMO, Jonny Depp is a brilliant actor- I love his chamoeleon-ism in the roles he plays; he doesn't even LOOK like the same person, let alone give you a clue in his voice. Brillant, simply brilliant.

I agree, Gweneth Paltrow is a perfect match in brilliant acting. From Lord of the Rings to Elizibeth, to Shallow Hal...her transcendance between them are undetectable. Bravo!

I thinks Johnny Depp is one of the greatest actors of all times. I like the way you described him as a chameleon -- you couldn't have chosen a better word. About your question, I think Cameron Ciaz is over played. I don't find her versatile at all and she sort of projects herself more than the character she's playing. I would like to see Dakota Fanning more in movies. I know she is just a kid, but she is amazing. She should stick to excellent directors only. About actors, I think I would say ummm, maybe Robin Williams. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a brilliant actor, but somehow I don't like watching him so much in so many movies. I think Mark Ruffalo should be played more, if for nothing else, his CUTE looks.

First of all, Ms. Paltrow was NOT in Lord of the Rings, that was Kate Blanchett.
I never get tired of Scarlett Johanson, Julia Stiles, or Reese Witherspoon. I am a little tired of Julia Roberts, and I don't even consider Paris Hilton to be an actress, she should be shot for her "attempts" at singing and acting. The fact that she was made famous by a raunchy sex tape should say EVERYTHING about her character . . . . anyway, off of my anti-Paris soap box. . . .
I would LOVE to see more of Christian Bale, and WAY LESS of Tom Cruise.

I think Tom Cruise is way, way, WAY, too overpaid. His latest movies have been bad...MI 3 was ridiculous! Besides, he doesn't donate any of that money to charities, he just gives it to his stupid Scientology church. That's a waste of good money :(
I would like to see more movies with John C. Reilly as the lead. If you don't recognize the name, he's been in tons of great films, like Chicago, The Good Girl, Gangs of New York, Talladega Nights, etc, but he's always in a supporting role. He plays the long-suffering husband really well! He's just so amazing and needs a bigger role.
I think Julia Roberts is overpaid...I mean, she does good work, but I think she needs to strengthen her street cred and do some small, independent roles. Also, I think Paris Hilton is overpaid...if they pay her even a dollar for a movie role, she's getting too much! She should be paying us!!
I would like to see more of Zooey Deschanel...another supporting actress who has been in movies like Elf, The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Good Girl, etc. She is so witty and funny and could really use a good role to sink her teeth into!!

Overplayed: I'm going to disagree with you and say Johnny Depp here. You're right, he is a fantastic actor who lends himself to so many great characters... but he has been in a lot of different movies lately. I could stand to see less of him in order to make those appearances more special. Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Matthew McConaughey also make the list.
Like to see more of: the Rock.

Anglie Jolie i think is overpaid. She needs to back to films that are not based on how good looking she is (ie girl interupted). I would like to see Milla Jovovich more and Sarah Polley more. Especially Sarah
Tom Cruise is definately way WAY overrated and also to some extent Arnie. I would like to see more Johnny Depp films that are not directed by Tim Burton. And i would like to see Orlando Bloom more to.
