You can ask three different people this question and get three different answers.

Wii - New concept with the wireless IR controller to point and aim at the screen and motion sensitive. Very good for family play as anyone can move their arm to play tennis or bowling. Downside: Graphics could use some work. Arms will get tired fairly quickly from constant movement.

Xbox 360 - Excellent graphics and gameplay. Wide variety of games means you should find a game for just about anybody. Downside: Not all of the original Xbox games are reverse compatible with the 360 and you need to constantly download new patches to play the regular Xbox games.

PS3 - Great graphics. Good concept with the "tilt to move" controller.
Downside: Way too expensive at $600 each for the base model.

Xbox 360 is by far the best choice, coming with the Wii second, and the Playstation 3 coming in third.

The Xbox 360 comes with three one-month xbox live subscriptions. No other gaming system has anything like Xbox Live - if you haven't played it, you wouldn't know. Not having backward compatibility with all regular Xbox games may be a downfall, but who is going to play an old game that isn't going to have as good as graphics as a 360 game? The only Xbox games that you need to play on 360 are Halo 2, and maybe some RPGs. The Xbox 360 has the some of the best action games, RPGs, and first person shooters, as well as third person shooters. For the cost, and what you get for your money - and with the games out now, Xbox 360 is the number one choice.

They are all good.

The Wii is great for multiplayer games. The gameplay is second to none. And just knowing all of the Mario titles that will be coming out for it is enough to buy it right there. It is by far the most affordable as well.

I have a PS3, which people love to tear apart on this site, but I love it. But then again, a big reason I bought it was because I wanted to fully utilize my big HDTV. The graphics on it are amazing. People say it doesn't have any good games, but I have 4 (Resistance, Madden, Call of Duty 3, and Tiger Woods Golf), all of which I love. There really isn't a lot of games out right now, but give it time and there will be a full slate to choose from.

I've never really been a fan of any X-Box system, so I can't really say much about it. But I know it has its hardcore followers, so I'm sure it's a good system as well.

I personally prefer the Wii...it is sooooo much fun, and so much less expensive than the other systems. True, the xbox 360 has better graphics, and I'm sure the ps3 does too...but just look at the price on the ps3! You could buy a whole computer for that amount! The Wii is innovative and affordable, and I'm a gamer on a budget. Enough said.

Well, right now, I would have to say the Xbox 360. It has games such as Gears of War, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and games like Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Fable 2 in the works. Though I think in a year, Wii will be the best. You just wait and see!

For quality and price, go with the wii, they are going to have 250 games out by march, and the game play is very nice. The second option would be a 360, great graphics, and good games. DON'T get a PS3, they are really disappointing. graphics are just not up to par and the only good game out there for them is resistance fall of man.

That would have to be the Xbox360. I have had mine for over a year now and its just amazing. There is so much that I can do and stay entertained until my husband comes home. I just love the graphics on our HD tv. My favorite new game is lost planet, I just love it. If you havent played it you have to try it!
