President Bush says that corporate executives' pay should be based on their performance. Using this criteria, shouldn't Bush be paying the US Government billions of dollars because his performance is so bad?

If you do that then you have to go after, Carter. He made the biggest mess, then Johnson, he cost us 10 times what both Bush's did in lives and shame. Kennedy would have to pay back a bundle.
Did you read the whole thing or did someone put you up to this question? Obviously not. Otherwise you would have seen that it was talking about a for profit company. And anyway, are you still so naive as to believe he acts entirely on his own?

Yes, and you should have to pay someone when you make a stupid mistake buying a car or buying a house causing your child to get an inferior education, or when you marry the wrong person.
In order to answer this question you have to accept that President Bush has done something wrong.Thats kind of subjective isn't it?

And then, shouldn't Clinton have to reimburse the government for the time Monica spent blowing him when she should have been earning her stipend?

By the way, do you realize how little the President of the United States actually makes compared to the CEO's of major corporations? It's a pittance.

Bush is not a corporate executive. We'd have to put Clinton into bankruptcy if we did that.

Is it completely amazing that Tapstry and other Republicans think that the Clintons stole silverware from the white house when the left??? why, just because they got an e-mail that said so. AMAZING. Look it up people. That DIDN'T happen.
