I heard the most ridiculous interview (not the first one) where a liberal nut was defending Chavez! I find it amazing that Venezuela (the government, citizens, etc.) agreed to hand over so much power to one man. One guy was quoted as saying we need to give Chavez a chance and trust him! Trust him?! I am sure they said the same thing about Hitler. How can the left defend a man like Chavez and at the same time they hate Bush - comparing him to Hitler, a king, a dictator, etc.???

Its amazing how I say I heard something and everyone needs links, webpages, WAV files, etc. Is this because I am attacking a liberal position? Funny how nobody questions a liberal on their sources.

Because he criticizes President Bush. Do you think they are able to look beyond their blind hatred?

And your source for this, ahem, "interview"? Was not Chavez DEMOCRATICALL Y elected? Are you anti democracy?

Or is this socalled "interview" just more clumsy propaganda?

Let me show you what I mean by "SOURCE". You have to have legitimate, credible OUTSIDE support for positions you take on various subjects in life. To say, you obey traffic lights because it's the law is incorrect; You obey them because EVERYONE obeys them and to ignore that is to act in a contra-survival manner. In other words, you run red lights, you could die. There are plenty of studies you can research online and in your local library which support the fact obeying traffic signals saves lives.

When you say Chavez is being defended by the left, you have to show the link to the webpage if it's online, the wav file you heard this interview in, what Rush Limbaugh radiocast it was, or whatever. You just saying you "heard" it doesn't make it a legitimate quote. It makes you look clumsy and ill informed.

I'll give you an example question and then the link to show I know what IM asking a legitimate question (you know, the same thing you want other people to think of YOU in your future questions):

"Why did America Elect, for the First Time in History, a Convicted Felon as President?"
http://www.realchange.org/bushjr.htm#coc...
See, you ASK the question, then BAM! You hit em with the link which supports the reason you asked the question in the first place.
Or, you can ask a question which is so obvious, you don't need to include a link. Sometimes these questions get kinda long and a bit confusing though. For example:
"Which of these confessions is better, is more in keeping with traditional family values?
1, "I didn't actually BANG her, I just got it sucked and stuck a cigar in her. No real SEX sex ya know? I know Im busted, but it meant nothing. I hope we dont have to divorce."
2. "Honey, I know we've been together 18 years, but I don't want to be married to you anymore, I have been having sex with a congressional aide, who is 23 years younger than I am. I know you're visiting your mother right now, but I had to tell you this way, over the telephone, because Im not a very brave man. Besides, you had to know what kind of man I was, When I was 19, I married my high school math teacher, then dumped her after I found out she was dying of cancer. That's when I married YOU, snookielumps."

(Hint umber one is Bill Clinton- Number 2 is NEWT (Mr Traditional Christian Values) GINGRICH...
No Links needed here, (but I'll include one anyway)
http://members.aol.com/okamwoc/newtdivorce.html

people can look up the pertinent data for themselves, but if you want to know the WHOLE story behind why the WTC was attacked, follow THIS link:
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/...

Ya see how that works? Now, you should always include LEGITIMATE sources, if you cant include a real, credible source for something your saying, then you shouldn't say it. It's like yelling "Fire" in a crowded moviehouse. It's propaganda and it makes whichever side you're trying to defend look ludicrous.

I have no use for Chavez however he was reelected. No one in or out of Venezuela has seriously questioned the results. We may not like him, I think he is a narcissist, but he is the legitimate leader of that country. We can either make an effort to improve relations or we can continue bickering across the Caribbean.

Because of extreme greed in Latin America. Chavez is playing a good game. He has many give away programs that the Left likes.
It the price of oil stays at around 50 dollars a barrel he will bankrupt his country

The liberals have a mind of hatred. Liberals want everyone to be average except for a selective few. This is why liberals get along with the wrong people.

You can't see why people would admire Chavez and dislike Bush?

Bush has acted against his own people. All his laws and actions have mitigated against Americans. He has created more terrorists than there ever would have been had he not invaded and tried to occupy Iraq.

Bush has brought the world closer to WWIII, none of these things have been achieved by Chavez. He is also someone who to this point acts in the best interests of Venezuelans, plus he has got my vote by saying the truth about GWB.

Hmmmm....a supposed interview, from a source you can't name, where "one guy" supposedly says to give Chavez a chance.... And from that you make the leap of saying that Chavez is being "constantly being defended by the left".

Ever heard of logic and credibility? Your story has neither.

"The Left" does not defend him. Democrats are the ones who want the U.S. to stop using foreign oil, and become energy independent. We'd like to sever all ties with him.

I have never supported Chavez, and I'm a Democrat. I think his comments in the U.N. building were petty, but he said them... it's done, can't change it now.
