what type of jobs etc?

The most common job for someone with a history degree is to teach. But when you apply for a job, any job, they usually ask only if you have a college degree - they seldom ask what field it is in. A 4 year degree is a measuring device that some employers use to prove that you have the patience and strength to work towards and finish a goal. Don't let your major hold you back from doing what you love. For instance, my degree is in English Literature, but I've spent my life working as a computer programmer.
