It is very immoral and takes your focus out of your work. If anyone is found having a 'fling' or a 'relationship' with another person atleast in the same department, that person should be fired on the spot. Should companies take serious action to ban that from happening ever?

YES or NO?

No. Although I have never done it, dating co-workers is NOT immoral. If there is a supervisor-supervisee relationship, there could be potential problem for the company, but that can remedied in a number of ways.

You are a little too excited for something that is extremely common and not always even unproductive.

No, but dating a co-worker is definitely not a good move. I don't think it distracts your focus at work, because any relationship can be a distraction depending on the individual

Dating a co-worker can have some un-intended consequences. For example, if a "work couple" has a fight one member can go to human resources and claim sexual harassment and end up getting one or both of them fired. This is why most companies have a policy against this.

I dated a co-worker, and it turned out to a huge mistake. I ended up losing my job partially because of the relationship as well as other issues I was going through at the time.

Sadly, some polices can't stop human nature.

It relies upon on how the two everybody is treating the setuation. Like if there continuously chatting and not focusing on artwork then particular they could be fired. yet while they're being mature with regard to the setuation and be conscious of the version between artwork time and harm time then I see no challenge. you're maximum appropriate in spite of the undeniable fact that it incredibly is a distraction no count if at the instant are not the two everybody is deeply in contact with a million yet another or merely strated off being couple. Me personelly if the guy who i wanted substitute into my boyfreind substitute into on the same college as me I could admit i may be completely distracted. for 2 those that are going out working in the same artwork place together i don't think of it incredibly is the ultimate of suggestions except like I suggested in the past if the two everybody is mature approximately it if not properly they get fired. which may be intirely there fault and if substitute into to ensue i used to be hoping they found available lesson.

Nope. I met my boyfriend 9 years ago at our job. We would sneak secret "meetings" and tried to keep it a secret for a while. Eventually everyone found out. If you fall in love with someone why should you have to give that up just because you work with them. If it affects your work then there is a problem.

Many companies do have a rule against it. I don't think it's legally right but it's a bad idea for coworkers to date. I always had a personaly rule against it.

I think if its going to harm your job, one of the boyfriend & girlfriend should leave the job if thier relationship going series. if it is not series, than they should get fired on the spot if this is agains thier company policy.

I really do not think so... If you are mature enough to enter into a relationship you should realize it can end and not interfere with your work
