I like to dress fashionably but sometimes I feel that I am the last one to find out about these new and instyle trends. How can I be in style and be one of the first ones to know? Is there a magazine to read or something? Please help..........

Yea, get cosmopolitan, it has a ton of fashion advice. Also Vogue. Go to your local store where they sell magazines and start picking some up.

The best thing I have found to do, watch a show like Veronica Mars or the O.C., or if you are a little older (twenties or thirties or so) Bones or some show on which you can find females in casual clothing. The trick is to find a show where you see plenty of younger, single women. The TV shows always seem to be just a little ahead of the times as far as hair styles, clothes, and jewelry. On some show, there are actually websites where you can buy the designer, overpriced merchandise which you see on the show. Mostly though, I just watch them for fashion because you can get some great ideas for jewelry and clothing combinations. Too bad that the plotlines are kind of weak on a lot of the shows.

Well if you are real fashion expert, then you would know there are no rules to fashion.....!! It's all in what you make if it. Now a days... since everyone is still trying to make some kind of fashion statement, it is really hard to be the first to try or come out with something new.

I like to read alot of cosmo because it often has this seasons "in" gear!!! But things go in and out of style so dont spend too much because in a month you'll wanta kick urself in the butt for it!!! Look at styles in Cosmo and go to (I know it might be lame to some) but Walmart, they always are trying to imatate the "in" look, so try it!!

Go to the Olympus Fashion week website they have a ton of designer's spring collections! Also this website is for young girls to play virtual dressup but they always have new designer's collections to paly around with check it out!

www.style.com catalogues the major fashion shows and lists key trends every season. also, look at high-end department store trends (neiman marcus, bergdorf goodman, barney's) or www.net-a-porter.com, they also list key trends for each season.
just pick the ones you feel comfortable in and make them your own.
