Mozilla Foxfire is an Internet browser much like Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. It provides much of the same functions as its competitors but has maintained an edge in providing users with a heightened security features.

As to whether you "need it" or not would be your own decisions. Like I said it is the same as any other browser. I would state that many very influential programmers and software developers use Mozilla over the competition.

This is due to the availability of several "Mods," which are additions to the User Interface of the program, to tailor the needs to each individual.

It is freeware as well so you dont need to pay for it. I would suggest that if you already have it downloaded virus check it and then install it and see how you like it. I prefer it myself because of it's ease of use.

It's actually Mozilla FireFox. It's a Google powered Internet service. I've tried it and it's really good. It is a fast working service, just like Internet Explorer. Google is a public website, and you don't need this specific program to use Google.

If you don't know if things you download are okay or not, try getting an Internet Security system...I highly recommend Norton Internet Security 2006. Do not use McAfee, I used to have it and it made my computer all screwy, but Norton is really good.

I don't know the answer to the Canadian part, you could search on eBay for a program and they might be able to send it to Canada, or Amazon.com may be good for purchasing programming...good luck.

That's cute, I called it foxfire at first also.
Was told to turn it around. It is a good browser. Takes you into the Internet. Internet Explorer is a good browser also. But more prone to let bad things slip into your laptop. If you get used to using Fire fox now, you will be better off. You can add toolbars to it and that is nice and useful. I have both In. Explor, and Firefox and At&t browsers. I switch around for diff reasons.

Foxfire is a system for getting online, and can be used instead of Windows Explorer. You can use google from either system. Personally, I prefer Foxfire because I find it easier to use and that I get fewer popup ads.

Firefox is good but not the best...

The problem with firefox is of memory leakage which uses a lot of CPU when u keep the browser open for a long time or with a large number of tabs...

Use Opera or IE 7 for better results.....

Firefox is a web browser that is more reliable than IE. I use it all the time. No, you don't need it to access Google. Be careful what you download. Firefox is safe.

You all should be purchasing Webroot protection. Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus is awesome. It's fast and protects you anywhere you go on the internet. I used to use Norton, etc., but those programs do not stand up to Webroot software. Webroot also has other products such as Webroot Internet Security, etc. You can purchase on line or buy it at Best Buy, P.C. Richards. Believe me you will not be disappointed.

Actually it is firefox and it is a web browser like Internet Explorer. No you do not need it but it is nice to have. If you installed it it will not harm your computer just use it at your leisure.
