Yes it is but if you have a good antivirus runningit will pick them up as you download them
Also usually the virus files are obvious because if you are trying to download an mp3 for example then a real one would be about 4mbs but a file with the same name thats a virus would be like 700kbs. So you would know not to download it in the first place.

yes it is and even with an anti virus protection on some will get throught.I had loads of problems with limewire and would never put it on the p.c again.It caused all sorts of problems so i had to reformat the p.c.
