If you have ventured outside during winter while wearing shorts you will surely have noticed that your calves get cold. It is the same with cows, although they usually do not wear shorts, except in cartoons.

Cartoons, or, more specifically, cartons is where you get the most from your cows and you will have to consider them as pre-formed seedlings that you must deal with very carefully.

Winter frost is always a serious consideration, so you must build a suitable environemt to aid in the growth, and to ensure a better harvest when the maturity date arrives.

Like you, cows like to have their own "digs", and that is where you begin, as I am sure you already know. In order to deal with the known menace of frost, you must prepare the "digs" at a lower level, which you can often find at a distance of four to five feet below the surface of your garden.

Carefully assemble your seed pods in this deeper area to avoid the wintry hostilities and build a good insulating cover to maintain warmth. Mulch could be used, but if you have a florist nearby you could invest in bluebells and sink them a few inches below the top level. Come spring these have been said to take an essence from the cow nest beneath them and spring forth as blue cow bells, thus you can see and hear the rsults of your efforts as warm weather comes around.

Your actual area may require something a bit different, but if you try all these, you might increase the possibility of a good crop, free from the ravages of frost.

Good luck, and may the milk of kindness stay with you.

Why not grow something simple like daisies. I don't think you are skilled or have enough money to purchase cows or even try growing them. Get a job.
