Yes, it is real.
Parapsychology study has proven through statistical analysis that it is real. How it works and how to control it is still highly debated.

In test studies using dice certain individuals were able to beat the odds...slightly. It took hours and hours of testing with thousands of throws per person to get a very small proof.

There have been a few anomalous individuals that supposedly had macroscopic ability (the films of the 60's). They often died relatively young and children, if there were any, rarely had any ability at all.
There is, also, a possibility that those films were government created hoaxes designed to waste Soviet time and money.

The best way to cultivate your own latent ability is to create a good relationship with your subconscious mind. Low self esteem and belief in failure will often turn any psychic ability against oneself.

In the 50's and 60's the Russians did a lot of studies in psychic ability. There were a few test subjects that were able to move Small objects like pencils around.

No, of course not.

There was a firm a few years ago that offered $10,000 to the first one that could demonstrate their telekinesis...a lot of people tired, but their "tricks" were always discovered. The money was never paid out.

I dunno, is the moon real? Yeah, it's real but what's the point? Just pick something up by hand, you get more bang for your buck. If you are thinking of moving anything other than a pencil, forget it. The brain is electro chemical. You'd have to use a lot of micro volts to move anything. To do that, you would need a lot of fuel, which means food. It can be done but not worth the effort or aggravation, in my opinion.
