whats with the episode of family guy where Brian is sitting on the couch with peter but is interrupted by a small wagon train. he then chases it into the kitchen and it disappears into the cabinet. did i miss something or was that just supposed to be wierd?

That was a reference to an 80's commercial for dog food. I think it was called Gravy Train. It was a dry dog food that you were supposed to add water to and it made "gravy". The commercials had a little wagon that the dog would chase into the kitchen.
