When a fruit ripens it changes color. When green vegetables are overcooked they change color( the difference between frozen and canned peas)sun light can fade curtains, put vinegar(acid) on some vegetables and they turn color. Put baking soda on green beans and they turn blue, baking soda will turn red vegetabls blue also.toasting bread. Baking a cake(the top crust)
cooking red meat, cooking egg white, cooking fish(translucent to white) bleach on a colored shirt
These are all household chemical changes.

Almost all the displacement reactions show colour change.
eg:- as a zinc granule is dipped in a solution of coppersulphate solution ,it changes from blue to a colourless solution as the zinc displace Cu from Copper Sulphate.
