today media is actively participating in the development of the country but nowdays its interference is rising too much in personal or plitical matters. also it has been taking people such as cricketers to the top in the eyes of everybody when they perform or do something good but when the same person performs badly, media buries him deep. i just want to ask whether any limitations of media should be decided or nor?

I agree that the "media" is more interested in influencing events than simply reporting on them. Just look at all those wacky polls they use for so much of their so-called news.
There is no such thing as freedom of the press, or freedom of speech when there is such a monopolistic control of news outlets by liberals. The government is not the only thing that can be oppressive.

Interference? No. If the Pope were to single-handedly make a federal or state law banning abortion -- instead of a legislature making the law -- then that would be much more than just rude, it would be unconstitutional. But the Pope can express his opinion. And I'm sure Nancy Pelosi will tell the Pope to just mind his own business. The Rev. Martin Luther King used to give the government recommendations as to what kind of laws ought to be made, too. 'S'funny how the left seem to never mind it when liberal preachers get involved in politics and tell the government what it ought to do. A leftist will never complain about a liberal preacher going to the state capitol and lobbying to end the death penalty.

Well, I mean there is such thing as Freedom Of Speech and Press, but I do agree. I do think the media can go way overboard at times and can interfere with these peoples private life. As for limitations, we really cannot do much because of their Amendment Rights!

The word MEDIA is plural. But the media themselves don't even know that, which gives us a clue to their real problem. Their 6th Grade knowledge of English Usage proves that their education is worthless and they have no right to their jobs. So it is not a matter of ideology, but the blame lies with a system that lets no-talent brown-noses--ambitious imbeciles--get jobs just because they go four years without at job, sucking their thumbs in some pre-Yuppy kindergarten called a university. Diplomaed Dumboes should be held accountable for their obvious incompetence, no matter how much we are brainwashed that they are owed their jobs.

Media has always had a political axe to grind and always exerts it's own partisan opinions. Today the public is more gullible and less willing to use its own conscience. A pitty and a sorry comment on the generations now living.

Media has always been in the back ground and shaping the politics. These days it is getting corrupt also.
